Katie is an experienced performer, singer and versatile actress who fully commits to character and takes direction well. She started her career as a pre-professional ballerina at the Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts at just 6 years old. There, she performed in numerous ballets including her favorite, 'The Nutcracker'. The show toured the state of Connecticut and throughout the years she was given the opportunity to perform various roles at many beautiful theaters around the state. When Katie was 11, her friend invited her to audition for a community theater production of "The Wizard of Oz." After being cast and performing in the show, Katie had caught "the bug" and she hung up her pointe shoes and decided to pursue a career in theater. She has gone on to play the title role in Grammy Award Winner Marcus Hummon's and Michael Aman's Off-Broadway Musical, The Piper, which was performed at the Irish Repertory Theater. She played the lead role, Wilder, along side TONY nominated actors Robert Cuccioli, Christiane Noll, and John Cariani. Katie also loves cabaret and has performed at some of NYC's Top Cabaret Clubs including: Don't Tell Mama, 54 Below and Stage 72. She has also performed in the National Cabaret and Performance Conference at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center for the past 4 years. Katie is also interested in pursing a career in Film and Television and just wrapped filming her first supporting role in the Independent Film, "Lucy."
